The versions of the Peugeot 203
Throughout its career, the Peugeot 203 underwent aesthetic and mechanical evolutions. A station wagon, a commercial version, a pickup, and later two very rare versions, the coupe and the convertible, completed the range. The mechanics evolved little, but the much-criticized gearbox was modified in 1955. It then became the Peugeot 203 C and remained in the catalog until 1960. Nearly 700,000 units were produced. The Peugeot 203 is a relatively common car and it is not uncommon to encounter it at events dedicated to vintage vehicles.
